The thing with control panels is that they are all unique. Usually designed to replicate a small-scale version of the system they are going to be controlling, control systems cannot be learned anywhere else. They all work in their own unique way and have their own individual quirks.
This can make it more difficult to train up members of staff in operating a system using a control panel. Even if they are experienced in your industry, they probably won’t have come across the same type of control panel before. Even if they have used one that is similar, it will not have been quite the same.
This means staff members need to be given full and thorough training. Firstly, make sure they have a good understanding of the system they are going to be controlling. If they are going to be operating it regularly, they should have a handbook with them at all times.
